always keep mamma earth in mind.
Buy threads you're going to want to rock for years! :)
Wear them more than once before washing; most of us don't get that dirty in a day.
Wash clothes in cold water with eco-friendly suds. (By hand is even better!)
Avoid the dryer & line dry instead.
Don't be quick to toss clothing when they get a tear - patch it up!
When you're no longer digging certain t-shirts, hand them down or donate.
Choose eco-friendly organic cotton.
Organic cotton is much kinder to the earth than conventional cotton, and helps keep our water
free of chemicals.

if the shirts are in really bad shape turn them into house or garage rags....that's what we do and they last FOREVER!
ReplyDeleteI do that too! So useful.
ReplyDeleteAnd whenever I really like the print or color of an old t-shirt I just wind up using it to patch up other clothes - that way I don't have to let it go quite yet. :)
