How Your T-Shirt Can Make a Difference

SF's organic cotton eco icon
When buying and caring for your cool threads,
always keep mamma earth in mind.
Buy threads you're going to want to rock for years! :)
Wear them more than once before washing; most of us don't get that dirty in a day.
Wash clothes in cold water with eco-friendly suds. (By hand is even better!)
Avoid the dryer & line dry instead.
Don't be quick to toss clothing when they get a tear - patch it up!
When you're no longer digging certain t-shirts, hand them down or donate.
Choose eco-friendly organic cotton.
Organic cotton is much kinder to the earth than conventional cotton, and helps keep our water
free of chemicals.

Here at Soul Flower we print our eco-friendly Soul Flower Originals in small batches and choose local, made in the USA products whenever possible to lessen our carbon footprint.
Because caring creates change! :)

  1. if the shirts are in really bad shape turn them into house or garage rags....that's what we do and they last FOREVER!

  2. I do that too! So useful.

And whenever I really like the print or color of an old t-shirt I just wind up using it to patch up other clothes - that way I don't have to let it go quite yet. :)
