Wild and waiting, my new favorite from Soul Flower would have to be their Moonrise Pocket Dress. Described as wild and waiting, this dress is wonderful! The material really does feel like silk, its slinky, breezy and so comfortable. The paisley print is filled with tiny specks of color and detail, and the two slouchy side pockets are surprisingly useful I usually don't like pockets on dresses, as they can at times add bulk, but these ones are perfect, because the material is lightweight the pockets are almost hidden, blending into the print, and not really noticeable. I love the fit of this dress, being 9 months pregnant now, I need clothes that are comfy and able to be worn as maternity wear, but not look maternity, because I want to wear them later. This piece is perfect, flattering on all body types, stretchy to fit all sizes, and patterned to match all wardrobes. I really love this dress, I've been wearing it all week, I love that the print has so many colors, I like to just pick a color in the print (so far I've worn it with olive green, mustard yellow, turquoise and grey, and each time the look is perfect.)
Cherry blossoms have always inspired me, they remind me of my childhood, they are so delicate, dainty, and free, their petals sprinkling over whatever they please. Wild.... and.... waiting.... waiting for their one trip from branch to ground, the wind taking them where they are fated to stay. I wanted a piece of nature to be at the entryway of the house, I love screen doors, its like letting a bit of the outside in at all times. I sketched out some blossoms and a branch with some chalk, then started stitching over the design with pink, brown and white embroidery thread, using back-stitches, and making sure to keep both side looking neat. I haven't finished yet, each day the branches wait for me to finish...
Peace,

I love this dress and I love the idea for the screen door. It would work great also for someone who had holes in their screen door and needed to make repairs. Great idea!!!
