The other day, Soul Flower had a little get-together involving good food and fun conversation, where we also had the opportunity to check out the upcoming designs for spring,(SUPER exciting stuff, my friends! With lots to look forward to!).
During this meet up, our ring leader, Mike, shared an inspiring quote with us that really sums up how many of us feel about our "work" and how we go about it:
“A master in the art of living draws no sharp distinction between his work and his play; his labor and his leisure; his mind and his body; his education and his recreation. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision of excellence through whatever he is doing, and leaves others to determine whether he is working or playing. To himself, he always appears to be doing both.”

Granted, life and work aren't always fun and games. No matter what you do in life, some days will just be good old hard work, but how you approach and feel about the work at hand can make a world of difference. It all has to do with perspective, and from our perspective, we're all reaching toward the sky, each of us growing at our own pace in the direction of our dreams, pursuing our vision of excellence together; working or playing, whichever you'd like to call it. ;)
